Corsica River Yacht Club on the Chesapeake’s picturesque and tranquil Eastern Shore will host our 70th Annual One Design Regatta on July 23-24. Corsica River Yacht Club is a great place to sail with a lot of open water, very limited motor boat chop, easy beach launching and plenty of grass on which to park, rig, camp and just hang out. We would be very pleased if you would join us at the regatta, CRYC will work very hard to ensure that it is an enjoyable weekend for you.
This year the regatta will be hosted at Ship Point with our brand new pavilion and bath house. We will be sailing in the Chester River beyond the mouth of the Corsica River.
As you know from previous years, and hopefully experience, this is the quintessential laid-back Eastern Shore Regatta. There will be a dinner and party on Saturday night with live music. Camping is highly encouraged and is free. Ship Point is an extremely tranquil spot to camp. If you have a cruising boat we have a very protected anchorage at the club.
We are less than an hour’s drive from Annapolis, just over an hour’s drive from the Delaware Memorial Bridge, and easily accessible from the Southern Bay, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Please see the NOR on our Web site for additional details http://www.cryc.org/.
