We’ve got a busy weekend in District 11 with many of our clubs hosting some form of racing.  If your club is racing then go race!  If your local fleet isn’t racing, then there’s one nearby who is.  And as of now the forecast shows plenty of breeze for most of the bay. So don’t miss out on a gorgeous June sailing weekend.

Dave Irey Regatta

West River Yacht Club is hosting their annual Dave Irey Regatta June 9-10.  This is a multi-class event with starts for Lasers, Radials and other boats like Flying Scots and A-Cats.  And for 30 bucks is a good deal for two days of racing. SMSA Small Boat Invitational

Southern Maryland Sailing Association is holding their spring 2-day regatta this weekend.  They’ll be sailing Lasers and Buccaneers out on the Patuxant River.  $45 gets you two days of racing plus dinner and donuts.  Always a fun bunch at SMSA.  Notice Of Race.  Register Online.

SSA Spring Series #2

Come see the progress Severn Sailing Association been making on their renovated clubhouse and sail with the fleet at SSA as they conclude their Spring Series on Saturday.  Registration at 9, first start on the water at 11.  Contact Dave Sliom for more details or let him know you are coming.

FBYC Laser Spring Regatta

In the southern part of the bay FBYC will be hosting their Spring Regatta.  No entry fee.  Skippers meeting at 10, first warning at 11.  Beer and awards after racing.  Race Notice.  Register to let us know you are coming.
